DISTANT COUSIN KIM:
John J.'s half-brother George W. was my grandfather. I stopped by Little Rock yesterday and obtained a copy of John J.'s death certificate and for the first time was able to confirm that his mother was a Futrell and that his father, GEORGE, came from from CHATTANOOGA, TN.

George's mother, MARY, was listed as age 60 in the 1850 Greene Co. census but age 45 in the 1850 Mortality Schedule.
Do you have any additional info on the Taylors, such as who George's father was, where Jesse and family dissappeared to after 1850, where info on Pleasant could be found, etc.?

I have no info on the Cooper line although I am connected to Coopers in another direction. One of my brothers, Champ (1913-1974) married Mary Julia Cooper in Paragould. Both are buried in Sulphur Springs, TX.

I have Johnson first cousins born in Paragould. Their parents were Cecil Johnson and Selma Taylor (1902-1984). Any relationship here?
