Thomas H. BOONE TN>Greene Co. 1900

For some time, I've been looking for ancestors and siblings of John T. BOON/BOONE,b. 1820, my gg grandfather, born in N.C. and living in Weakley Co. TN by at least 1843 (m. Trucey Jane NOBLIN in that year). Their children were Sarah Jane, b. 1845; Lucy Ann, b. 1846;Mary E., b. 1850; Thomas H., b. 1852-54; William, b. 1856; John Andrew, b.1859; and James W., b. 1862. All children were born in the Weakley Co. and Obion Co. TN area.

Recently, I've learned that one son, Thomas H. BOONE and wife Mary E. (Mollie) had moved to Greene Co. Arkansas by 1900. He appears in the 1880 Obion Co. TN Census. Then, according to a biographical sketch in "Fathers of the Ridge, Vol. III, Genealogical Sketches of Greene and Clay Co., Arkansas", he and his family settled in Hurricane Township by 1900. Their children were John A., b. 1877; Lucy, b. 1879; Mary E., b. 1885; Drusilla, b. 1889; Elbert F.,
b. 1892; and Leona B. All the children were born in TN. Thomas H. BOONE d. in 1904. His wife Mary E. d. in 1941. They and their sons, John A. (d. 1915) and Elbert, (d.1972)
are buried in Cudd Cemetery in Greene Co.

I'd appreciate any information you might have about Thomas H. BOONE and family, his parents, and siblings. Also can anyone tell me if there is still an area of Greene Co. called Hurricane Township? Thanks very much.
Brenda
