According to an article in the Paragould Daily Press, July 21, 1996, Dr. Frank W. Lloyd died in 1973 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

The article was written because Lloyd's Lafe Clinic building was being demolished.

"Lloyd first settled in Lafe in 1934 and moved his practice several times, but was always drawn back to Lafe and kept his clinic open there until his retirement in 1967.....

Dr. Lloyd, who had four children from a previous marriage, lost both legs to diabetes and eventually died in 1973 after a series of strokes. He's buried at Fort Smith."
