To further give information in hopes that someone can help! I do know from family recollection that A.C. came to Arkansas from Alabama in the early 1800's. I have been told that 2 brothers and a sister came with him, but that one brother left for Oklahoma with a group of Indians. I have no names. I've seen several Davis's in the same census records as A.C., from Alabama, but am not sure if they are in fact related.
A.C. and Rachel had 10 children: Mary L., David A., Nancy M., Ellen, Rufus G., Patrick P., William G., Thomas H., Caroll M., and Cynthia E.
