Karen -

I guess my Clarks bypassed Arkansas although I was sure that some of them had been there. Seems my Clarks came to Texas from Kentucky and settled in the Red River District of Texas. Some of these Clarks's names were Gilbert (Methodist minister), and came to Red River District. Next in line is Thomas Carr Clark, his son, then on to James Perry Clark who was my gr gr grandfather. They lived in Hopkins Co Tx.

I apologize for the sketchy information, but it has been so long since I have really looked at my Clark information that I will have to sort through it again so I can make some sense of it.

I have been focusing on the Campbell line when I found that Hiram Clark bought some of the Campbell land which was adjacent to his (Hiram's) land in Grant Co AR.

If any of the above Clark names ring a bell with you, let me know and I will dig a little deeper in my Clark files.

Kay (Mary)
