Looking for more information on my GreatGrandfather, Elija Fox. He was born 8-14-1860 and if I have done the right research, his parents were Newton Fox and Elizabeth Danders, who were living somewhere in South Carolina when Elija was born. He had a twin brother, Elisha Fox who died 7-20-1943 and is buried in McGill Cemetery in Garland Co.Elija Fox Lived in Garland Co., AK in 1880 to early 1920's. I cannot find the name of my Great Grandmother... all I know is that she died in Garland Co in 1915 or 1916. They had five children: George, Willie, Mitchell, Monroe, Joseph, Linnie and Leona (my grandmother, b. 12-11-1893 in Garland Co., d. 1-1-1972 in Portland, OR) The only other information I have is that after my great-grandmother's death, Elija lived with a Choctaw Indian woman known to my family simply as "Jane". She had a daughter who corresponded with my grandmother up until the early 1950's and this daughter's married name was Lou Dew.
