I am researching the family of William Gardner and Matilda Morris. William owned the first general store and the first ferry on the West side of town. I have numereous stories about his life in Garland County, Hot Springs, but nothing about his life before Hot Springs, in 1836 when he married Matilda Morris, my big mystery, Matilda was supposedly of Indian descent, being a member of the Mohawk tribe. Matilda was the daughter of Bohaw Robbins. Any information at all on Matilda would be greatly appreciated. Donna
