Cain - Sessum connection in Arkansas
I am searching for information regarding Langly Sessum. I have a Cain family photograph taken, most likely, in the 1880's, Lee Township, Garland County, Arkansas.
The back of the photo has the following caption:
"Big Ma" Cain (Victor's mother - Ruanna "Ruey" Mayberry), Henry Cain & his mother Nancy M. (Cearley) Cain, Victor Cain, Langly Sessum (Henry Cain's step-son), Will Cain and his wife Bessie Jewell (Gillham) Cain.
Henry Cain was my great great grandfather and I'm trying to fit the "Langly Sessum/step-son" piece into the family puzzle.
The photograph mentioned above can be viewed at the following URL:

Any information will be appreciated.
Tks
Scott
