You may already have this info, but will offer it anyway: Lewis McGrew b. 10-27-1894 d. 12-24-1970; no spouse or parents named; buried at Godwin Cemetery. You might want to look at James Alexander McGrew and Rosa VanSickle as his parents. They were md. 9-23-1892 in Garland Co AR. She was 16 and he was 26. (B 3 Pg 243)James Alexander McGrew b. 4-17-1862 d. 4-28-1940; father was Daniel McGrew and mother was Betty???; buried at Godwin Cemetery. Rosie McGrew b. 3-24-1876 d. 5-23-1952; father was John VanSickle and mother was Martha Rough; buried at Godwin Cemetery. All the above info is found in Caruth Funeral Home Records 14 July 1909 to 31 December 1970. On the 1880 Garland Co Census, you will find: Hale TWP House # 34 Daniel H McGrew 51 b. IN (his father in KY and his mother in PA), wife Elizabeth 48 b. in IL (f and m In), children all born in AR were George W 27, Solomon D 25, James A 17, Eliza D 16, Rebecca A 13, Mary E 10, and Martha P 4. There was a Samuel McGrew 44 b. IN in Mill TWP with his family on this same census---probably a brother to Daniel.
