I am searching for information in regard to an inquest held for Richard Buckner who was murdered in Fulton County in 1870. Copies of the inquest and it's findings would be helpful if they exist The 1870 Mortality Schedule for 1870, Fulton County, Arkansas has one R.C. Buckner enumerated on it. He was 33 at the time of death, born in Illinois and was shot in the neck with a gun, above his cause of death is written in small letters-Homicide.

The 1870 Fulton Co., Ark. census enumerates his wife Susannah Buckner and their 4 children. Next door to
Susan Buckner, born 1837 in Mo., is her father John K. Sullens an old widower born about 1806 in Mo.

Any info you can find would help settle a family disagreement over where he died!
Please let me know if you can help me, if you can't, would you please refer me to some source who might?
thank you.
Audrey Horner
