John Mode b.1830 NC and Nanny D. (Canipe) b.1842 NC came to Faulkner Co., AR AFT the Civil War. They were from Cleveland Co., NC.

One of the sons, Henry Clay Mode b.1880 AR - married Blanche Graham b.1883 OK. Blanche was a daughter of Oliver Perry Graham b.1846 KY and Mary Elizabeth Jordan b.1845 KY. All of the above are buried in Faulkner Co., AR.
