Still searching for Lela COOPER who married George BROWNING. Does anyone have information regarding the Cooper family? A family member thinks Lela's father was a mail carrier. She died in the 1920's.
Might also be Lelia. She was born abt. 1894, and died after 1923. Her son was just a little boy, and doesn't know a thing about her, so I am trying to help. Be a nice Christmas present for him.
By the way, on my recent DOWNS posting, I have discovered that the sister of Dr. Seth Reynolds Downs who died in my hometown of Kilgore, TX, is still alive in Nashville, AR, where Dr. Seth's father, Dr. Joseph Henry Downs (married Ida Reynolds) died. As soon as I get some good info, I will post it to the site.
