I am seeking information on the John M. McIntosh family listed in 1880 census in Muddy Bayou TWP, Faulkner Co. AR.
John, age 39 Amanda, age 31 William, age 13, Catherine age 8, George, age 2. Stepchildren Willie Davis, age 8, Alice Childers age 6, Mattie Childers, age 4. Does anyone know Amanda's maiden name or if the stepchildren could be Amanda's from previous marriages. I believe this is the same John M. McIntosh listed on 1850, 1860 and 1870 census in Gray TWP, Pulaski Co. AR. Also, does anyone know if Muddy Bayou was once in Conway County? John M. McIntosh's parents are William born in KY abt 1804 and Sarah Unknown born in SC abt 1798. John has siblings Sarah C. born abt 1836, Newton J. born about 1839 in AR. John M. and his brother Newton J. served as Confederate soldiers for the 13th Arkansas Militia.
