James W. Hair - Hare was born in Barnwell Co SC in 1824, he obtained land form the Government in Drew Ar, the N.W. Corner, near Bethel and Rock Spring, Grubbs & Valley townships in 4-1-1861
His children;
1.Wiliam b 1843 age 16 when they moved to Drew Co
2. Alonzo b 1845 Enlisted at Monticella 2-22-1862 Discharged for disability at Corinth Miss.
3.Sarah America b 1847 m. Wm Riley Turnage 8-28-1861 DrewCo. They moved to Union La.by 1870 Living with them was Christopher Hare age 18 b 1852
4. James b 1850
5 Barnwell b. 1850 twins
6. Christopher b 1852
James W Hair died of pneumonia Catoosa Springs Ga March 3 1863... so I do not think he is buried in Drew Co.
James W Hair wife was Georgiana born 1838 SHE may have remarried in Drew Co
This is my Great Grandfathers brothers family David Furman Hair he died 1901 Bell Co Tx. He passed down names of this families children of James as; Judson, Alonzo, Wentworth,America, Christopher.
Looking for ANY type of information on James W Hair Hare family in Drew Co.
I did find but I do not have yet is the WILL of James W Hare
in Book 1 1846-1882 Drew Co Ark.
