Thank you so much for the marriage record. I am assuming that it is from the Dallas Co., AR, marriage records.
I considered the fact that the WWII enlistment record could be an error, but I had not thought of the stigma of divorce during that time.
Regardless of the outcome of the marriage, I'm pretty sure that the Martha M. Russell that died or lived last in Cleburne Co., AR, was his wife, for I found a Social Security record that listed her mother, Sue M. Simpson, as having a last residence address of Quitman, Cleburne, AR.
Oh, it's Ft. Roots in North Little Rock.
