Looking for information concerning Gaines Edward Pendleton Alston, born 1849 approx. in South Carolina and Mary Elizabeth House born unknown married December 15, 1870 in Dallas County, Arkansas. Records show GEF Alston later married to Martha J/Mattie (last name unknown) believed to have been born in Arkansas. There was one child born of the Alston/House union, Daisy Reyburn Alston, my great grand mother. Children born of Alston/Martha/Mattie union were Bertie, Thommy, William J., Ethel R., Any information will be greatly appreciated.
