Hi:

We are searching for Captain George DAVIS (1804-1870) s/o Cornelius DAVIS (1765-1845) & Hope ADAMS (1763-1853) of Cushing, ME, f/o Virginia LaFayette (Davis) GRAY (1834-1886), w/o Oliver Crosby GRAY (1831-1905).

Capt. DAVIS and grandson Clyde Leslie GRAY (1859-1861) both buried in Princeton Cemetery. Dau. Virginia gave birth to son Carl Raymond GRAY 28 Sep 1857 and possibly dau. Ethel in 1871(?)in Princeton.

Oliver, Virginia, Carl & Ethel in Washington county, AR at 1880 census.

1. When did he arrive in AR? 2. why was he in AR? 3. any info on him and daughter's family.

Your help will be appreciated.

Bill Boggess
