I wouldn’t want you kids to find you in the dead people’s book! :-) I’m not related, but here’s what I could dig up on John, Ola and their kids. Ola’s name was misspelled throughout the years – not sure what the correct spelling is. I also believe Sylvania may have also gone by Savanah.

If Ola died about 1915, here’s a possibility for her in the Jonesboro Weekly Sun:
Steward, Mrs. – 27 May 1914-Black Oak Items [JWS-42] Cane Island Cemetery
You can request copies from the Jonesboro Library (www.libraryinjonesboro.org). Be sure to include the information in parenthesis; it will help library staff to locate the obit.
Going by the Cane Island Cemetery mentioned in the obit, I found the following at Lower Cane Island Cemetery:
