this is clearly a long shot on Miranda Workman ...take a look at this census and see what you think...it might be his initials werer originally W J 1880: Otterville, Cooper, Missouri Jacob Workman 47 Marinda Workman 37 ************* James A. Workman 5 ***************** Sarah T Workman 4M I noted that on the 1900 census it has Maranda's bp as Nebraska but on the actual enlarged image it is North Carolina and that Mary's childre Maud and Baz were shown with the last name of Workman... also found this Savannah, Georgia Directories, 1888-91 Name: Mary Bryant, wid H.
