I am hoping to find someone who can look up a probate record for me. Will gladly pay for time and expenses. I have come across this piece of paper and would like to get the records that it pertains to: Terms of Court, J.R. Gregson Craighead County, Clerk CLERK COUNTY COURT AND EX-OFFICIO CLERK OF THE PROBATE COURT JONESBORO ARK, JULY 31, 1901 Mr. Thomas E. Crockett, Lapine, La Dear Sir; In reply to your of the 28 inst. I would say that the estate of Henry Crockett has not been settled yet. You know that Mr. Wright now lives in Texas, and I wrote to him some time ago in regard to the matter and told him that the court had rendered a judgement against him as the admr. of the estate, but have not heard from him, as yet. You perhaps know that Mr. George Cole is on his bond and will have to pay the judgement if Wright does not. I think the court granted Mr. Cole some time, in order that he might see if he could get Mr. Wright to pay it. So that is the way the things stand at the present. Yours very truly, J. R Gregson, County Clerk The information that I am looking for is on Henry Crockett(also known to go by David William Henry Harrison Crockett and Henry Crocket). He was born in 1842 in Tenn and was married to Mary Morris on 25 Jan 1866 in Murphysboro, Illinois(Jackson County). Their children were: Anna Elizabeth Crockett--Charles B Crockett--Mary Ann Crockett--Thomas Edward Crockett--Ida Mae Crockett--Jessie Franklin Crockett--William Henry Crockett. I have virtually nothing on Henry except this paper and his marriage license. The Children of Henry and Mary were all separated while young and we cannot seem to find Anna, Charles, Mary Ann and Ida Mae. Only have information on Thomas, Jessie and William. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Tammy
