Old Calhoun/Early Magnolia Families

My ancestor, Robert G. Harper and wife, Mary Ann Thomas Jones Harper, lived at Calhoun(when it was still in Lafayette Co) and then in early Magnolia, Columbia Co, AR. R.G. Harper began the first Methodist church as a lay preacher and then served as the first county clerk for Columbia Co. I would like to connect with any of these early families' descendants. Some of these who have ties to my relatives are Samuel B. Harper family, Norbern Young family, Elisha Paschal family, William M. Dixon family. These are not all kin, but associated in time and records. I am trying to hunt and peck my way back to an ancestry for R.G. Harper. Thanks for any contacts.
