I have a Ples Hooten born March 1855,
died 1879 Van Buren Co AR.
married to Matilda Turney born 1856,
she was d/o Henry Turney born 1815 TN and
third wife Susan. Her brother was Henry Turney
Jr who lived just outside of Higden. Henry Jr
was married to Sarah matilda Higdon, and his
daughter was Ida Turney - who married
R.A. (Bob) Turney whose house was where the
end of the present Narrows Bridge is now
located.

also have this:
Littlen Hooten born 1823 Overton Co TN
died 1895 Higden, AR
wife Mira Warner
children:
1. Elizah Hooten
2. Reuban Hooten
3. Lou Ramey Hooten born 1849
4. James William Hooten born Jan 1839,
married to Sarah Elizabeth Conner ca 1862
They had 3 daughters - following

1. Mrythe May 1884-1917
1902 in Higden married John Potter
2. Eliza Jane Hooten married Moses D. Potter
3. Amanda Ella Hooten 1889-1956, married
my great uncle George Marvin Barnum. They
had 8 children.

How your Elizabeth Hooten fits in I dont know.,
