On early Cullum info -
Francis Cullum Jr from Montgomery to Frederick
County Maryland - wife was Ellender Owen.
Ca 1788-1790 to Clark county Kentucky
2 sons to VBC AR were:
Thomas Owen Cullum
William Cullum born ca 1801 Clark Co KY,
he married Polly Barnes 24 Aug 1822 in Indiana.
1830 census Decatur County, Indiana
late 1830s tax list of Van Buren co. AR
1840 and 1850 Giles township, VBC AR with
first wife Polly
1860 Giles Township, VBC AR with second
wife Eliza Turney who was born 1831 in
Smith Co., Tennessee.
1862 executor on will of Hannah Turney - his
mother in law
He lived either very close or next door to Hannah
Turney.
land records show 161.61 acres 1860
before Jan 1866 he had died

The Turney family was Peter and Hannah Turney
and their children. Arrived VBC AR - around the
Higden area - ca 1834, 1835
Eliza Turney was their daughter.

William Cullum and Eliza Turney had 2 sons.
William born ca 1859
Jerome L. born ca 1862 who married
20 Jan 1881 Van Buren Co AR to
Paralee D. Cook.

These are early Higden area families -
also an Owens family is on 1840 census
of Giles Township, VBC AR....
