Dr. John Patrick Hiller's fire at Pollard, Arkansas

Does anyone have any information about the fire that destroyed my Grandfather's home in Pollard? It happened around 1950. His son, Elbert died in World War II and the fire totally destroyed his home and all pictures of my uncle. I thought maybe the Piggott Banner would have a record of the fire but I don't have an accurate date.

My Grandmother was Lura Brown, the first librarian at Piggott.

I would appreciate any information.
