Hi Wanda,
I don't know if I will be of much help, but here's two things that I found by looking in our Clay Co. AR Marriages Eastern Dist. 1893-1924 book.

First, for May Pickens there is a marriage of her to J H Jones (in Book #6 P. 68) He was 22 and from Rector. She was 16 and from Leonard (which is just a little out of town there). It's on the date of Dec. 6, 1908.

Next, there is a Mrs. Mary Jones being married to a W. S. Yancy on Sept. 14, 1911. He was 44 and from Rector. She was 20 and from Rector. This is in Book #7 Page 95). Our courthouse will make you a copy for a dollar a piece. I don't know their address, but it would get to them if you'd addressed it for Clay Co. Courthouse, County Clerk Office, Piggott, AR 72454. The County Clerk # is 598-2813.

By the way, I had a Jones marry one of my Great Uncle's. Her name was Betty. She married Tom Montgomery. Her mother's name was Ruby Jones. I have pictures of them although I never knew them. They lived in the Rector area. If they are connected to you, let me know and I will send you copies of the pictures.

Hope this helps.

June Montgomery Jones
