Shirley: I am not sure who William Berry is but as far as I know he is not related to me. My ancestor YOUNG HENRY BERRY 1848-1925 lived in Greene and Clay counties and had moved from Crockett Co., TN about 1878 or 1880. I am wondering if you know that Clay was formed from Greene County (about 1874, I believe)? Anyway, a Henry Berry and wife Ruthy lived in Chalk Bluff Twp. of Greene County in 1850 census. He was 62 and she 58 and they were both born in NC. No William shows up in their home, but maybe he was related to them somehow. Hope this might provide you with some kind of a lead.-Ross Berry (Auburn Hills, MI)
