Grider of Piggott brought Wm. Keith, a crazy man from near Pollard, Monday morning, to Corning jail for safe-keeping until he can be lodged in the asylum at Little Rock." From The Life & Times from The Clay County Courier Newspaper, 1911, Published in Corning, Arkansas - actually on pg. 119 (There was no reference to either on the numbers you provided so I looked in the index): "Sheriff Matthews and wife went to Little Rock yesterday where Mr. Matthews took Mrs. Timothy Barnhorst and John Keith, the crazy persons from Corning jail to the insane asylum." From "The Grim Reaper's Footsteps Across the Nation as Mentioned in The Clay County (Arkansas)Courier Newspaper, 1893-1925, pg. 215: "Keith, W.S. - Page 4, May 19, 1905 - Dr. T.E.
