Would like to learn anything regarding the family of Hattie Gleghorn and Fletcher Porter who both gave their residence as Knobel per marriage index (1881 - 1902) found in Clay County library. Who were her parents? Did they have any children? Please help as Hattie's mother was a sister to my gr-gr-grandfather per information found in the "Life and Times from the Clay County Courier Newspaper, 1910 Published in Corning, Arkansas" that was compiled by Cathy Barnes. If I understand correctly these books give the "gossip column" information from the newspaper of earlier years.
