I do not have any of those names, but I've wondered myself why they went to ARK. John G. Adams was raised by John Morrow Marlin Jr. and wife Lilly Ann Wylie. John Marlins brother Hamilton Marlin d. in the civil war 1865 in Ark. Hamilton's sister Nancy (my line)had a daughter Rachel E. Marlin that married John G. Adams. They all seemed to have relocated to White Co. but then after Rachel's death, John G. went to Ark. I believe his son was already there. So the migration probably started with the Marlins, but don't know. I do know that Nancy Marlin and husband John Adams left White co and eventually ended up in Sherman Texas where they died. Their children were born in White Co as far as I know of some of them. It is possible that they may have been in Ark before going to Tex but don't know.
