Hi Adriana, It is very confusing, I will start from the begining. All I know about my wife's grandfather Robert Clyde Estes is from His daughters birth certificate which states that he was born in Ark and at the time of his daughters birth (1929)he was 39 years old making the year of his birth 1890. With this information I began searching the census and found an Estes family in Ark Blue Cane township. This family consisted of Father R.C Estes, mother Margaret, Eldest Son R.C Estes and brothers william,James,John and sister Lela. I know that the father's name is Robert CALVIN but I do not know if the Eldest son is Robert Clyde or Robert Calvin Jr. The eldest son was born may 1888? a two year difference from the stated age of our R.C. Estes. I have traced the Estes Family from the 1900 census.The The R.C who died in 1901 should be the father robert Calvin.I beleive the son Robert C. married later on but I still cannot find out his middle name. If it is Robert Clyde then I still have a two year difference but that could be just a clerical mistake by the census or the birth recorder. I hope I have made it less confusing and not more? The first question to answer is,is Robert C. Estes born may 1888 in the Blue Cane township Ark, Robert Clyde Estes?. If so then I think I have a match, then what happened to him from 1906 to 1929 when he showed up in Covington TN. Thanks for all your help.
