PRIDE 1880 Thomas & Wesley

I'm searching for information about Thomas and Wesley PRIDE, both listed on the 1870 census for Chalk Bluff Twp., formerly in Greene Co. Thomas had a son, William S., and a daughter, Allice, both of whom married in Dunklin Co., MO in the 1880s. Wondering if William S. may have been also known as Sanford PRIDE. My grandmother was a PRIDE who was an orphan and was raised by the Isaac Allen family in Campbell, MO. across the state line from Clay Co. Any info will be appreciated.
