Mrs. Josie Tanner of Chatham,Illinois mother of Mrs. A.E. Roberts, arrived Wednesday in response to a telegram summoning her to her daughter's bedside.

Mrs. A.E. Roberts (nee Tanner) died at her home in Corning last Sunday morning and was buried in the city cemetery Monday. The Rebekah Lodge, of which she was a member conducted the burial. Rev. Hall conducted the funeral services. Mrs.Roberts was a young woman, and leaves two small children besides her husband, mother, Mrs. Josie Tanner of Chatham, Illinois and her sister Mrs. J.M. Stephens of Success and other relatives attended her bedside and burial.
