Thanks for your response. I do have this information, except the data re the marriage of Perry and Lizzie. I had an approximate date of 1887 based on the age of the last child by Perry's first wife and the only child of Perry and Lizzie.
I have not researched in Nevada County, but maybe I need to look there. I still have not located my grandfather in 1900, though he died in 1947, in Clark County.
I am doubly connected with these Stoutenberg folk since my paternal grandma married the first wife's son and a maternal cousin married the second wife's son. So my Father's half-siblings were first cousins to my mother's cousin.
