I would appreaciate any information on my great grandfather, Henry Lewis Jones. He was married to Harriet A Rutledge who was born in Talladega, Alabama. They were married March 9, 1873 in Washington County AR. They moved to Arizona soon after marriage. Henry Lewis raised cattle and had a freight co. After typhoid epicemic they moved back to Arkansas. Either Boone or Carroll County. Henry Lewis farmed in Arkansas. They had several children. The oldest was, James William Jones, my grandfather he farmed and was a Carroll County Justice of the Peace. He died in 1949. Another child was Lewis W. Jones. James William Jones married Callie Stancoff, aka, Sterncoff, Stiencoff, there are several different spellings. Callie's mother was Sara E. Stancoff who died in 1914, Carroll County. She received a union widows pention, but I have not found her records yet. Thank You, Kindest Thoughts, Larry Floyd, 2705 Redbud, Kilgore, Texas - 75662
