Hello! It's good to hear from someone else doing some of the same research.
My ggrandfather was Norman Henry Kile. He was born about 1840 in Knox county, Ohio. He died near Blue Eye, Missouri April 9, 1910. According to what I've found and believe to be correct, Bloomfield, in Knox county Ohio is where many of "my Kiles" settled.
I have found some leads showing Adam Kile, my gg grandfather, living in Illinois along with his father Adam Kile. (spelled Keil in some records) I don't know if I'm on the right track from there on though.
I have at least one connection to the High family here in Carroll County. My grandmother's sister, Mary J. Davis, married Ben High who was the son of Jim and America High.

If we have a connection please feel free to email me. wlksquiet@earthlink.net I would love to share information and I also have some old photos.

Robert
