Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

According to the 1876 book, "History of Williamson County, Illinois" written by Milo Erwin, Marshall T. Crain fled Williamson Co. Illinois to his uncle Thomas Crain of Boone Co. Arkansas after being charged with murder. Unless there was a second Thomas Crain in Boone Co., this would make your Thomas Crain the child of Jasper & Mary Clifton Crain.
