Wiley Brown, 1880 Census

The 1880 census for Calhoun Co., town of Hampton lists Wiley Brown, age44, occupation County Clerk, wife Laurah (sp) age 33, son Henry 12, dau Jenny 10, dau Amy 9, son Wiley 4 and son Joseph 1. Wiley Brown was listed as being born in NC as were his parents.

My grandmother who was Margaret Louisa Jane Brown, born in 1856 in NC had a half-brother Wiley B. Brown who was born about 1834 in NC, son of James Brown and his first wife. The 1880 census is the last information I have on Wiley Brown. My father always said he lived at Herpel in Stone Co., AR, but searches in that area have been fruitless.

Does anyone have information about this family, including cemetery records? I would appreciate knowing if there is a connection.
