My Great Grandparents lived for some time in the 1880's in Boone County Arkansas - they originally moved from Illinois to Arkansas & then moved back & forth to Kansas/Arkansas.
They are both buried in the Carrollton Cemetery. The top part of his Civil War tombstone is still there, however, all she has ever had is a rock. This is being taken care of in the next few weeks.
I am still trying to find an obit for either of them.
He was a circuit rider minister and the story always told was that he got off of the train in Eureka Springs and then had a heart attack and died in the Crescent Hotel there. Haven't found proof.
Would appreciate any help or ideas on sources to prove when & where they died.
Thanks!
Daphyn Hamilton-Darlington
