Hello,

Cox is a fairly prominent surname found in Boone County history. The Boone County Heritage Museum in Harrison, AR has Cox in its Family History collections:

Also, the Cox name is featured throughout the book History of Boone County, Arkansas, with a narrative by Roger V. Logan, Jr.

Can you be more specific in your query (i.e. individual names, etc.)?

You may want to contact the Boone County Heritage Museum. Their email is bchm@alltel.net, or you can visit the website at http://www.bchrs.org .

Hope this helps,
