Sheila, Over 8 months ago on 12-12-03 Msg #584 Boone Co, AR Genealogy Forum, I posted a message on my Stone ancestors, who were on its 1870-1880 censuses, Bellafonte township.

On them are these names: Wiley Stone, his wife Candas Buckner Stone and her sister Charlotte Rogers plus grandchildren. Wiley was born on NC-SC border in 1803. In additional households were their 2nd oldest son James, his wife Harriet, their next oldest son Francis (his wife named Martha I think) her maiden name was Christopher; and, William P. Stone wife Sarah Elizabeth Christopher-brothers married sisters. There was also children of his sons listed in their seperate households. I'll send you a list if the census records are not available to you. Maybe your Dessie Stone was related. I think the Stones you show are related to mine, Solomon, Ezekial, James, John if they were in NC-SC-or GA in late 1700s-early 1800s. Bob in OK
