Shiela, I'm a descendant of a Stone family who were on the 1870 and 1880 censuses of Bellefonte Township, Boone County, AR. One of them (my ggf) was William Pitchford Stone who moved on into the Indian Territory, the other Stone folks were his brothers and parents Wiley and Candas Buckner Stone and their families. The parents stayed in AR and probably died somewhere around Harrison or Bellefonte TWP.

I have a lot of data on them going back to SC, then to GA and AL during Civil War, and from about 1866 they moved to Boone Co. If your grandmother lived in Boone Co or in Searcy or Independence Co would like to hear from you. Bob in OK.
