Sylvia: I am J. C. Davidson and I think you are close to my GreatGrandfather James Monroe Davidson's old home place. I am into genealogy and was checking one room school houses in Boone Co, Ark. James Monroe came to the Pleasant Ridge area in about 1860. He bought about 200 acres on Crooked Creek and built his log home about Civil War time.I have just begin to delve into where the family children went to school. Pleasant Ridge is about 8 miles east of Harrison, Arkansas and about 1 1/2 miles southeast of the old home place. His last child was born in 1877 so depending on the when the Pleasant Ridge School started he may well have had some children go there. I would love to have an e-mail of the picture. Will be happy to share info with you.Best Regards J. C. Davidson
