William Joseph Inglish born Oct 1836 in Tx or Ar but used the name Joseph ENGLISH as an adult in Benton County 1870-1900.
His parents were Joseph INGLISH and Annie [SHELTON] - their marriage 09 Nov 1835 in Hempstead Co AR is on record; Annie was Joseph's 2nd wife. Joseph died in Feb 1836 in Lamar Co TX before his son was born.
Annie [SHELTON] is reported to have been born abt 1809 in Butler Co, KY to Jesse SHELTON born 22 Feb 1782 Henry Co VA - died 25 May 1855 Clarksville, Red River Co TX and
Rachel [MARRS] born 12 Oct 1787 Davidson Co NC (Tn) - died 05 Apr 1860 Clarksville, Red River Co TX. I have not personally verified her birth or parents.
Annie 2nd married Andrew YOUNG in Arkansas when Joseph was just a baby.
I don't know anything about Andrew's age or birthplace.
By 1850 Andrew and Annie have been reported to have had 2 sons born to them: Napolean born abt 1838 and Thomas born abt 1844. I have not been able to verify them yet......
William Joseph ENGLISH married Rebecca [WILSON] abt 1867 most likely in Benton Co AR. Rebecca was born 1837-8 in AR and was the daughter of Hardy Wilson & Elizabeth [Petro]. Rebecca died between the 1880 and 1900 censuses. I have verified her marriage and parents.

I have been unable to find Joseph or any of his children after 1900......but I will keep looking.
