Thomas Beckman (or Mitchell) according to family records, was born in Benton County. My cousin says Dec 4, 1879, according to census records his given ages, probably 1880. His father, unknown, according to census records, was born in Texas. I'm not sure Margaret Beckman was married. In 1884 she married Horace J. Ames, in Washington, and her name is listed as Margaret Beckman.
