Would like to know the parents of Leonard V. Crane b. 1839 TN. Also his wife's, Arkansas, parents she was born 1840 TN. This family was in IL at least thru 1865 in KY by 1870 and in AR [Union Twp, Baxter Co.] by 1880.
The 1880 Baxter Co., AR census states:
Leonard V. Crane 41 b.TN,father NY,mother PA
Arkansas Crane 40 b. TN, father NC, mother SC
Mary E. Crane 19 b. IL, parents TN
George L. Crane 15 b. IL, parents TN
Prudence L. Crane 10 b. KY, parents TN
Prudence L. Crane married Chatten Leonard Deatherage.
Who did Mary E. Crane marry?
Who did George L. Crane marry?
My assumption is that Leonard V. Crane is a 1/2 brother to Josiah "Joe" Bennett Crane that lived in Whiteville Twp, Baxter Co. in 1880. All help appreciated.
