While I was looking for something else, your message caught my eye.I live in Baxter County, Arkansas and subscribe to the Baxter Bulletin. I phoned the Bulletin.Chyrl Ripple no longer works there, but Deb Peterson writes the historical archive column now. Deb's direct phone line is 870-508-8056 or you could reach her via the newspaper's web site.
Something I have used in the past is the service to purchase reprints of articles.Their online archives only go back a decade or two, but as you saw in 2006, some news items are reprinted from historical editions, and a person can sometimes get lucky. You can do online searches of those archives at www.baxterbulletin.com . They keep paper archives at the office, but you'd have to be here to view those.
What kind of info are you looking for?Anything in particular? Or just everything you can find? For gravesite photos, are you familiar with the free service FindaGrave.com ?
Best of luck!
