Hi Charles,

Nice to "meet" you. I did not receive your first message. I found out that Arvel was actually a son of Lou. My mother and I went to Baxter County, Arkansas. I have a photo of the grave of Arvel and Lou if you are interested, We found out that Coleman Long paid for the plot they are on. That was all that we found out there. Lou had 6 children and only 4 lived. The 4 living kids that we found were: Elmer Gordon Floyd, Lee Roy Floyd, Charley Floyd and Ralph Floyd. I believe that Lou married a James F. Floyd in Ozark County, Missouri. We believe that he is the same James Floyd that died in 1910. I can not put my fingers on his death certificate at the moment, but he died in Missouri and we got his death certificate online. Both her marriage records are on ancestry.com. She got married first in Ozark County, MO to James F. Floyd. She married coleman long in Howell county, MO. 1912. email me at:
