Hi Cheryl,
I asked my grandmother about the name and this is what she said:
Unfortunately we do not have much information about the family in England except
what is in the genealogy chart I gave you.Your Great Grandfather The Rev.
Henry Tuckley was born in Willenhall, near Birmingham in Staffordshire 1848.
His father, Henry Tuckley was buried in Whitten Cemetery, Birmingham I don't
know if that is near Northhampton I understood from Grandpa's mother that
the name was fairly common in England. The year we were married (1938) she
visited some relatives. I think it was in Bottisham. She had cousins living
there that she kept in touch with. and sent packages to during WW2
But my grandparents and parents were all from Binghampton New York. However, my grandfather might have been from Ohio originally. What other information do you have that you could share with me?
