You are correct, James A Taylor (the minister) is not my James K Taylor, and they seem to be unrelated.
On my recent visit to Baxter Co. I found that my James K. Taylor lived near the Pilgrim's Rest church (Monkey Run area) from at least 1900 through 1905, when he and his wife Emeline sold their 40 acre farm and disappeared.
