I am connected to the James M. Smith and William H. Smith families that lived in Bradley Co TN and then Baxter Co ARk - specifically Mt. Home. I was doing some research on Smiths in Baxter Co Ark and came across the administration of the estate for a William L Smith - and I don't know who he was. I don't have him connected to my family. And unfortunately, the administration doesn't mention any other Smiths. But it does mention the following as administrators: Lon Jones, W. Baker, and Roy Bedenhauer. Don't know if this helps you at all.

Regarding my Smith family, alot of them ended up migrating to Oklahoma - the part from the James M. Smith family. But I'm not sure about James' brother, William H. Smith and his children what all happened to them. His middle name was Harvey - if that helps.
